All of our projects include a thorough process to ensure that our team, clients and the general public are safe on-site. Our simple 3 step approach allows us to mitigate any risks through planning and deployments of our trackway and ground protection mats.

Step 1
RAMS
Site specific RAMS are provided for each site by our qualified engineers to provide our clients with a safe system of work. Our team includes Appointed Person to provide lift plans and technical information together with qualified on-site lift supervisors.
Step 2
Planning
Site drawings and safety job packs are issued to all our crews for each site and Daily / Dynamic risk assessments are completed by our experienced supervisors and operators to mitigate any risks during site operations.
Step 3
Operations & PPE
All our specialist equipment is certified and checked prior to works commencing, All our staff are fully trained and wear full Personal Protective Equipment at all times during site operations.

TNSR
We are proudly Scotlands Top Road Safety Operator 2025. The health, safety and welfare of our staff and clients is paramount to every aspect of the work that we undertake, and the ever-evolving HSE requirements across the industries we work in have seen us make significant investment into further improving our policies and procedures throughout the company.
SafeContractor
The Davis Trackhire team have achieved the SafeContractor accreditation following an assessment of the contractor’s health & safety documentation, and compared against the SafeContractor Charter Standards, which set out the health & safety standards required to achieve accreditation.
FORS Silver
Carrying the FORS silver accreditation shows our customers that Davis are dedicated to improving safety, reducing our environmental impact and manage our operational fleet to a high level of quality. All HGV vehicles are fitted with state of the art camera and safety systems and Logistics staff are trained FORS practitioners.
Achilles
We have been a member of Achilles for many years now, utilising platform helps us identify any issues, improve our practices and implement any improvements needed for the future to streamline our operations.
Road Haulage Association
We are a longtime member of the Road Haulage Association, a partner to the logistics and haulage community. Utilising the RHA’s knowledge, training and support in helping comply with industry regulations and efficient running of our HGV fleet.

IOSH
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health is the world’s Chartered body for safety and health professionals. All of our staff are required to complete varying levels of certification dependant on their roles within the business.
CSCS
All of our site personnel hold CSCS accreditation (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry – giving our Construction clients the peace of mind that our employees have the appropriate level of training and qualifications to work on their site.
ALLMI
All of our drivers are accredited by ALLMI who are the UK’s only accrediting body to specialise in training for each member of the lorry loader lifting team, as well as managers, instructors and engineers, ALLMI’s courses are approved by CSCS and delivered to the highest standard.
