In memory of Jason Hedley (17.07.1992 – 06.12.2025)
On 6th December 2025 the Davis Trackhire family suffered a truly devastating loss with the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jason Hedley.
Jason joined Davis Trackhire in 2021 as a Senior Driver/Operator and quickly progressed to the role of Project Engineer, bringing skill, dedication, and a genuine passion to every project he undertook. Throughout his career, Jason became widely respected for his deep knowledge of portable roadway systems, his meticulous attention to detail, and his unwavering commitment to safety and quality. He approached every challenge with a solution-focused mindset, ensuring projects were completed efficiently and to the highest standard, and his contributions played a lasting meaningful role in shaping our team and the projects we deliver.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jason was known for his warmth, humour, and ability to connect with people. Colleagues often recall his quick wit and infectious laughter, which could brighten even the most challenging days. He had a rare gift for turning everyday moments into shared smiles and camaraderie, and his energy and enthusiasm left a lasting mark on all who worked with him.
Jason’s contribution to Davis Trackhire and the wider industry was significant, but it is his professionalism, integrity, and friendship that we will miss most. His knowledge, dedication, and passion for his work set a standard for all of us, and his memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with Jason’s family, friends, and loved ones. We are grateful to have shared in his journey and will carry his memory with us always.
Rest in peace, our friend. You will forever be part of our story.
Eulogies from Jason’s Davis Trackhire colleagues
Since his passing I have heard so many funny stories and encounters of Jason and his huge personality during his time at Davis Track Hire all remembered fondly by his close working friends and colleagues. His absence will have a huge impact on his team and will be sadly missed all.
Thinking of all those who loved him dearly.
He spent a good bit of time in Scotland covering holidays for his Scottish counterparts & loved it here (So he told us)! Whenever he visited, he brought a smile that instantly lifted everyone around him. His cheeky, childlike sense of humour kept us all laughing, as did his big booming laugh, (may I add, laughing at most of his own jokes) memories we will always treasure.
He was truly adored by the team & customers alike, not just for his work, but for the warmth, kindness, and laughter he shared so freely. His presence made a lasting impression, and his absence will be felt by everyone.
Thoughts are with his family and friends & colleagues at this difficult time. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
My working day was always so much brighter when you were sat across the office from me, or working a trade show with me.
I’ll forever miss your childish humour and your stupid, infectious laugh. I’ll forever miss your presence.
Love you mate.
You had an infectious personality and a genuine warmth that made you a joy to be around. You could turn an ordinary workday into something brighter, and our workplace will never feel the same without you here. You weren’t just someone we worked with – you were someone we were lucky to know, a friend, a colleague.
Jason you will be deeply missed by all who knew you, but the laughter, kindness, and good memories you have left behind will stay with us always.
He could turn any frown upside down with his infectious laugh and a smile that would light up any room.
Me and Jason first set out as industry trainee companions many moons ago that became great friends which turned to family.
A lovable rogue who shines bright! and I know whenever I need guidance, I will look up to the brightest star in the nights sky.
Until we meet again mate. Rest in peace.
He will be missed by anyone that ever had the pleasure of being his presence. Miss you brother.
He was a great presence on site – full of stories, quick with a laugh, and brilliant to work with. Jason played a key role in the early days of EWR getting your equipment set up on site, and he always carried himself with true professionalism. His loss has come as a real shock to all of us.
I can only imagine how difficult things are in the office right now. Please know that our thoughts are with you and the team, and we hope you’re all managing as well as possible during this incredibly hard time.
