Davis Trackhire were proud to play their part in supporting the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic by supplying over 2,000 square metres of aluminium DTH Panels to facilitate the delivery and installation of the nurses quarters at the temporary Nightingale Hospital facility on the grounds of ExCeL London.
With only 48 hours notice from the point of enquiry to installation and with the majority of our installation crews on furlough, it was down to our Managing Director, Blake Davis, and Operations Director, Phill Wright, to don their PPE and assist our remaining skeleton crew with the installation.
While also ensuring COVID-19 social distancing guidelines were adhered to at all times, which understandably slowed down the installation, our crews worked tirelessly to lay the compound in unison with other site contractors who installed temporary accommodation units and generators onto the panels as they were laid.
